Platt Design Number 1, built in 1987 by Stu Gillam of Kennebunkport, ME.
Western Red Cedar over White Oak, alternately steam bent and sawn. Decks canvas in white lead (the real thing!) Chainplates custom Si. Brz weldments. Rudder kevlar (why not!). All copper and Si Brz fastened. Cost $10,000 back in 1987--maybe 16 k today.
